Well, for the me the answer to why there are fake friends is that, some of them have selfish motives. If you can do something all the time in  their favor, they will love you as a friend but when they can not get something from you, they will stab your back. Would you believe that? I do.. I have a friend whom I consider one of my best friends. We are working in the same company We are together most of the time because we can easily agree to almost everything we do. The time came that I find another place for greener pasture so, I left the place where we both working together and transfer to my new place of abode. At first, we had a good communication and she keep on asking me if I could help her find a place for her where I am, or maybe if I could find somebody who could help her find her way to a greener pasture too. Oh yes, I did helped her. I keep on contacting people, promoting her and her abilities but nothing happened. Until the time came that she became bored and frustrated of waiting. She did not write me anymore and never answer my mails either. Her reason is that, she is busy all the time with work and earning for a living. Well, I can understand that because everybody does. So, I did not hear from her  since then and for quite a time.

Then one time, somebody informed me that she,,, my so called friend, started to stab my back. She was telling some other co workers things against me which is not of course true. I just keep quiet for few months but the time came that I decided to make things straight. I confronted her through  email because I can not do it in person. We are living half way around  the world. I am in another country while she is in our home country. I felt guilty of what I said because I know my words are sharp and it really hurts. But I have to let her understand that making false stories is not good either. With that incident, she made an effort to talk to me via phone and she explained what is it all about. She denied everything as usual. LOL. I know her, she made a lot of denials even before but because we are friends, I am so considerate with her. But now that she did it to me? I can’t leave her alone. I made my straight talk telling her that I am upset with what she did and I have to tell her to stop doing it to me.

I tell you what? I lost my respect on here. As if I can not trust her anymore. Ever since we were friends, she never did this to me, but she always does to others who are not that close to her. So, then I come to realize that there are fake friends. You can not expect everybody that they are really sincere. Although you can find a few but for me, I will not trust anyone anymore. They must be tested as loyal friends and true before putting all your trust and confidence in them.

It’s so frustrating to trust a friend only to find at the end that they are fake. It is so disappointing  in our part. So, I hope that all of you there,… would be careful in trusting somebody. There are lots of fake friends out there, who are only good when they can get something from you. A true friend will never take advantage, they are there through thick and thin, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health. That is a true friend.
